Oakland Progressive Party! Wednesday, June 18th, 2014, Oakland Rising will be throwing the Oakland Progressive Party & Townie Awards at the Kaiser Rooftop Garden from 5:30-7:30pm
For the last 3 years, Oakland Rising has held our annual Young Progressives’ Party to bring together and celebrate social justice activists, leaders and elected officials who are making a difference in the lives of low-income, immigrant and communities of color.
In keeping with the developing nature of our work, the power of our multi-generational movement, and the integrity of our values, this year marks the first: Oakland Progressive Party! On Wednesday, June 18th, 2014, Oakland Rising will be throwing the Oakland Progressive Party & Townie Awards at the Kaiser Rooftop Garden from 5:30-7:30pm. Our goal is to raise $10,000 from individuals at this event, and we can’t do it without you.
