Join the Refund Coalition go door-to-door and speak directly with our neighbors about the Oakland Budget. The Refund Coalition is a coalition of organizations committed to organizing for - and winning - a real recovery budget for the people of Oakland.
We will talk to our neighbors about winning a budget that:
• Reinvests in housing as a human right
• Prioritizes critical public services
• Funds the frontline by protecting workers
• Reimagines public safety.
• Lift up arts and culture.
• Makes corporations pay their fair share!
We believe this can happen in part by utilizing incoming federal stimulus dollars, holding big real estate, and corporate actors accountable and redirecting money away from criminalization and over policing of Oakland’s Black, Indigenous and communities of color.
Make sure to bring:
